SUB-CONSCIOUS v CONSCIOUS
Two Components of the ‘Triune Brain’
‘CO-JOINED SIBLINGS’
Basically, there is a constant interplay between
the sub-conscious and the conscious brain components -
a bit like co-joined siblings.
‘DISCONNECT & FRICTION’
Like many co-joined siblings,
there can be quite a difference between them -
leading to ‘friction’ and creating a ‘disconnect’.
Trouble is, each relies on the other
and there is no way they can really disconnect from each other.
AIM FOR HARMONY/EQUILIBRIUM
Basically, the sub-conscious is aiming for a
body-operating harmonious sub-conscious-v-conscious
‘effort-level’ of around 50 out of 100
- a sort of equilibrium between less and more effort -
with less effort being below the effective-efficient optimum
and more effort being above the effective-efficient optimum.
When effort-level reaches 55 to 60,
the sub-conscious works hard to bring it back to 50ish.
Likewise, if the effort-level reaches 45 to 40,
the sub-conscious works hard to bring it back to 50ish.
MAINTAINABLE EFFORT THE AIM
While less-effort is the sub-conscious brain’s aim,
there will always be some sort of effort, otherwise
the attached body will slowly ‘wither away’.
BUILDING OF ‘STRESS’
If ‘stress’ rises within the body
- say from the ‘partying-actions’ of the conscious -
then the sub-conscious effort-level may often have to rise
to between 50 and 60 - struggling to get it back to 50ish.
Eventually, the sub-conscious accepts that 55ish
is the new 50ish effort-level -
that is, 55ish is the new equilibrium.
In this way, the body is in ‘harmony’ again -
at least at that current time.
However, this ‘adjustment’ creates more stress,
as it requires increased effort from the sub-conscious
to maintain this elevated ‘normal’.
To this, the conscious may add more ‘partying’ stresses,
so the effort-level is more often between 55 and 65,
so the sub-conscious - eventually - comes to accept
60ish is the ‘new norm’.
Short term ‘harmony’ is again restored - however …
The increased effort required by the sub-conscious alone
to maintain this ‘new normal’, will lead to greater stress.
And maybe the conscious will add more stress too.
So the new norm’ becomes, 65ish … then 70ish …
then 75ish … then …
BECOMES TOO MUCH &/OR VERY OBVIOUS
Eventually, the sub-conscious can not ‘cope’
- with the ‘warning signs’ of ill-health having
largely been ignored or insufficiently focused on -
and eventually ‘the body can no longer cope’,
and one or more major ‘health-issues’ become very obvious.
SIBLING ARGUEMENT
In a way,
the sub-conscious
and conscious co-joined ‘sibling-brains’
are now having constant arguments -
the sub-conscious wanting the conscious
to do more ‘to help’, and
the conscious wanting the sub-conscious
to more ‘chill and enjoy’.
Communication and trust has broken down.
‘Dis-ease’ has become the predominant situation.
AIM FOR ‘SIBLING HARMONY’
This is where “Intunitive” Kinesiology aims to do its ‘base-work’ -
to get these co-joined sibling-brains to work together,
for the overall betterment of the body/person
within which they are co-contained.
There is a particular focus on ‘attached-emotions’
- although there is little to no need for a client talk about such -
as ‘emotions’ are the ‘default’ state of the body-responsible,
sub-conscious brain component.
